Who We Are
Hug-a-Plush™ (HaP) is a trademark of Marcia McCray Illustration and Design LLC (MMID).
For the past decade, Marcia has focused her attention on graphic design and illustration. As
a result of her desire to combine her artistic talent and sewing skills from her background in fashion design, Marcia’s vision has now expanded to include unique, adorable creatures that were created to be loved and embraced as they bring laughter and happiness into your world. Both HaP™ and MMID exist to incite passion, revive creativity and individuality in everyday
life while continuing to promote the driving principles of quality, originality, and value combined with the core concepts of aesthetics and functionality.

What Is Hug-a-Plush
Hug-a-Plush™ is a collection of adoptable creatures which all originally started as sketches. The brand is bright, colorful, quirky, and whimsical. Each creature is made with new and or recycled fabrics that all have been washed with Dreft® detergent, with the exception of the
Eco-fi felt. No two creatures are exactly the same, and each creature possesses his/her own personality traits, interests, and likes and dislikes.

Finally, each Hug-a-Plush™ creature comes with a card in an embossed stamped, sealed envelope with information about their traits and the process by which he/she can be officially adopted. Once the adoption request has been sent to us, MMID will send the “official”
adoption papers.
